With over two decades of experience in Business Operations Management, Dr. Kena R.

Mayberry has established herself as an expert in critical domains such as continuous process

improvement strategies, organizational benchmarking, workforce development, and strategic

planning. Her extensive background spans multiple industries, where she has made a significant

impact on renowned industry leaders and brand ambassadors. Dr. Mayberry’s unwavering

commitment to nonprofit work fuels her passion for helping organizations achieve their vision

and performance objectives, while positively influencing communities.

Prior to joining CS&S, Dr. Mayberry was the Chief Operating Officer at the National Center for

Learning Disabilities (NCLD). She also served as an Organizational Change Management

Subject Matter Expert for the Department of Defense, where she contributed her expertise to

ensure successful organizational transformations within the Pentagon. She also held the position

of Director of Operations at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, a division of

the New York Public Library, where her leadership was instrumental in the center’s success.

Additionally, Dr. Mayberry serves as the Senior Editor for The Journal of Social Change and the

Journal of Social, Behavioral, and Health Sciences, underscoring her dedication to academic and

research endeavors.

A lifelong learner with an insatiable thirst for knowledge, Dr. Mayberry boasts impressive

educational achievements. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from George Mason

University, a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix, and a

Doctorate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Walden University. Her pursuit of

knowledge extends beyond her Doctorate, as she has also earned Post-Doctorate Certificates in

Human Resource Management and Social Impact Management.
