Looking Ahead on Giving Tuesday 2022

2022 has been a busy year at CS&S. Our programs have grown and continue to thrive. This year, the work in our three programs – the Fiscal Sponsorship Program, Event Fund, and the Digital Infrastructure Incubator – lead with themes of community-centered power in research and planning for sustainability of both the technical and social infrastructure underlying our work. As we approach the end of 2022, we look towards 2023 with optimism and practicality. The work of our community is changing the world. We are seeing the impact of investing directly in communities of practice through the work of MetaDocencia, 2i2c, and the Event Fund (see impact report). We see the shifts that emerge when communities are engaged in research through DAIR’s groundbreaking participatory research approach. And we see that when communities govern the development of technical and social infrastructure - at IOI, ReSA, URSSI, OpenRefine, to name a few - new horizons are possible. But the road is long.

If you are in the position to financially support our work and the work of our fiscally sponsored projects, please consider making a donation. Donations can be directed towards our core programming or any fiscally sponsored project.
