Discussions around Incubator topics such as ethics and governance have clearly moved to the center within our team.
The DII began as part of the second cohort of the Digital Infrastructure Research Fund and continues with support of the Ford Foundation and Omidyar Network.
As we develop this cohort model of capacity-building work, we are committed to exploring under-resourced aspects of social infrastructure in public technology. Current conversations with possible partners and collaborators include avenues of exchange between policy makers and open source teams and professional pipelines into public interest technology on both domestic and global scales. We are actively seeking funding partners to support future cohorts and collaborators to explore these related threads of work.
